Antartica performs Marc Soucy’s “ACTUAL SNOW” LIVE - streaming & music video
ACTUAL SNOW is a newly resurrected audio file record live to stereo tape in 1982! (see next paragraph). Only the second song performed as a 5-piece band, with a vocalist and guitarist. Lyrics by Marc Soucy.
Epic live performances of complex music was the norm for Antartica. Pushing the boundaries of what could be done by three guys with instruments, Ray Lavigne (drums), Jeff Carano (bass), and Marc Soucy (keyboards) left behind some live stereo recordings, done on a 1/2” reel-to-reel tape machine. Those tapes were transfered to digital files around 1998, and Marc has repaired, restored, and mastered those files. He is releasing them as singles, each with a music video. On July 24 2026, the full collection will be made available as an album “ANTARTICA LIVE” for download and streaming.
