Each offers a different way to experience Marc’s music catalog.

ORIGINAL INSTRUMENTAL WORKS

These are the complete compositions—the place where an idea can be followed wherever it leads. Structures expand, change direction, revisit earlier material, and sometimes cross musical boundaries along the way.

Rather than defining the works by genre, the collection is best approached as a series of individual musical narratives, each with its own character and destination.

HYBRID NARRATIVE CUES

Hybrid Narrative Cues approach the same creative world from the other direction: what happens when an idea needs to communicate quickly and work with picture?

Some grew from material found in larger compositions; others began as cues. The catalog is organized by mood, energy, and narrative function so that useful choices can be found quickly without requiring the listener to know where the music originated.

The restored and mastered 1982 live recordings capture the trio in real time—developing extended compositions through arrangement, improvisation, and the interaction of three musicians playing together. They remain a document of where part of Marc's musical language began.
