Today, pre-orders begin for ANTARTICA LIVE on Bandcamp, a collection of eleven original instrumental performances recorded by the progressive fusion trio Antartica in 1982 and carefully restored and mastered for release in 2026.
When these performances were recorded, none of us imagined they would one day become a complete album. They were simply the sound of three musicians challenging one another, exploring original compositions, and discovering just how far we could push the possibilities of a keyboard, bass, and drums.
Over the past several years, I've devoted countless hours to recovering, repairing, restoring, and mastering these recordings while preserving the energy, spontaneity, and musical interaction that made them special in the first place. Rather than trying to modernize them, my goal has been to let the performances speak honestly for themselves.
The response from early reviewers has been both encouraging and deeply gratifying, reinforcing my belief that this music deserved to be heard again after all these years.
